Heh. Right around the time that I made this, I was busy completing my collection of Evangelion DVDs. I have no idea what caused me to think of this, but the idea of Gendo as a cheesy used car salesman made me giggle -- especially the "Aw, shucks" look on his face, which is totally the opposite of what Gendo is usually like. The background images were scanned in from pictures on a couple of DVD covers.
I fail so miserably at humor.
