A wonderful two-DVD box set. The first is the documentary Mugonka~Romances sans paroles, which covers a year in Shoko's life, a period of intense loss for her -- in addition to losing her father, Shoji Fujii (a mentor to Shoko, and the person who taught her how to play the drums) also died. The film follows Shoko as she deals with these situations, while at the same time recording and performing during her 20th anniversary duties (as twenty years had passed since her debut). A very touching film, and one that really gets across the vulnerable, human side of Shoko.
The second disc is a collection of live-in-the-studio performances by Shoko, and also her latest PV, "Namae wo Yonde~When you call my name" -- which is also her first proper PV in ten years. The disc also includes a behind-the-scenes feature of the recording of the PV and the other live tracks.
The set is a wonderful purchase; better yet, both discs are region-free, so anyone can purchase and view the discs.
