Shoko's fifth best album, and the first one to feature songs from every stage of her career -- though the main focus in her 1988-1991 period. Disc one is made up of songs from her Epic/Sony albums, and includes the first album (non-single) apperances of the single version of "Yasashii Ame" and "Monochrome no Natsu." To make room for all the songs on disc one, "Get Back" has been edited, and "Todokukashira" is faded out early (the packaging says "Dokonimo Kaeranai" is edited, but it seems to be the same length as the original version). Disc two has songs from the Warner era and beyond, with most of the tracks being taken from Shishousetsu, with the later albums generally getting one song apiece. Finally, disc two ends with four "bonus tracks," live renditions of previous released songs (except for "Tokyo de Umareta On'na," which I don't think had been released beforehand). As a set, it's probably not as good (or thorough) as previous Shoko collections -- and focusing so much on the early years means a lot of great songs were left out. But it does have a handful of songs you won't get elsewhere (at least not without spending a decent amount of money), and it does hit every major album of Shoko's career. It's also readily available, and thus the easiest way to get some of the Warner tracks (as opposed to hunting out the original, out-of-print releases).
