Puffy AmiYumi x PuffyPuffy AmiYumi x Puffy

2nd Cover Album / Stereo

Ki/oon KSCL 1371

Released March 25, 2009

Highest Chart Ranking: #97
Weeks on Chart: 2

Puffy's second album of cover songs, but unlike The Hit Parade, this one is made up of cover songs from all parts of Puffy's career, from 1996 to the present (instead of a bunch of newly-recorded covers). The High-Low's "Nichiyoubi yori no Shisha" is the only new track on the record; everything else comes from old singles, albums, and tribute albums. Presumably released as a sort-of stop-gap while Ami and Yumi were still working on their next proper studio album, this is a good way to get all of those various tribute album appearances in one place (or almost all: right before the album was released Puffy contributed the song "Motto" to a Judy & Mary tribute album).

Honestly, it probably would have been better for Team Puffy to release this album when there wasn't a new album in the works (like Hit & Fun was), but it's still an enjoyable listen.
