As you may have inferred from the title of the DVD, this disc is a document of the final show of Puffy's 10th anniversary tour of Japan in spring 2006. Since the tour was a celebration of Puffy's 10 years together, Ami and Yumi's setlist hits every single album of their career (except the remix ones, obviously) at least once, while the stage show itself ends up reusing bits and pieces of shows past, adding to the atmosphere. The show begins with Puffy's band playing the opening to "Kobijin" before abruptly switching to "Toku Suru Karada" (this will be familiar to those who have seen Jet Tour '98 DVD, when the band began playing "Kobijin" before similarly switching to "Asia no Junshin"). As the band stops playing "Kobijin," Ami and Yumi appear from beneath the stage set, leaping up to the floor with the help of moving platforms (again, a familiar sight if you've seen Fever*Fever DVD).
As for the setlist itself, it incorporates plenty of songs that left Puffy's set lists long ago, though mostly those songs are relegated to the massive, 11-song, mid-set medley. Otherwise, there are plenty of then-new songs that would end up getting released on Splurge, and the usual hit singles. That doesn't mean there aren't other surprises, though; there's a full performance of "Tomodachi" (with images of Ami and Yumi through the years playing on the stage video screens during the song), as well as a spirited performance of "Hurricane" complete with backup dancers.
The actual performances are superb. Ami and Yumi sing very well thoughout the set (with Yumi in particular hitting some amazing notes), and the band is - as usual - solid. There are a couple of guest appearances of note during the show, too: a few members of the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra lend their brass to "Boogie-Woogie No. 5", and - more importantly - Tamio Okuda adds somewhat low-key vocoder effects to "Asia no Junshin" (similar to the appearances he makes on the Tour! Puffy! Tour! and Spike Daisakusen DVDs).
All in all, this is (in my opinion) the best live Puffy DVD available. It hits all the high points of their career up to this point, and the performances themselves are some of the best I've seen - Ami and Yumi didn't let the poor weather that day get to them, that's for sure (it rained non-stop throughout the concert). There are a couple of extras on the disc, in the form of a behind the scenes documentary about the tour (which is per usual for a Puffy live DVD) and a short discussion filmed over dinner in a restaurant between Ami, Yumi, and several others.
The DVD is still in print, but be aware that it (and all of Puffy's DVD releases) are Region 2, so you need a special DVD player if you're an American fan.
