Puffy's first greatest hits collection, featuring all of their singles to that point with several album tracks (and two Mandarin-language versions of their songs). Predictably, most of the focus falls on Jet CD and Fever*Fever, with amiyumi and solosolo getting two songs apiece. As a hits disc I prefer it to An Illustrated History, if only because it has a few more songs and delves a bit deeper into the early Puffy catalogue. But even so, there are quite a few good album tracks that you miss out on by sticking exclusively to the hits discs.

This CD is readily available, with YesAsia, CDJapan and Amazon Japan all having it in stock.

Notes:

  • Run! Puffy! Run! contains the music videos for "Asia no Junshin", "Toku Suru Karada," and "Kore ga Watashi no Ikirumichi."
  • Jet DVD contains the music videos for "Circuit no Musume," "Nagisa ni Matsuwaru EtCetera," "Honey," "V·A·C·A·T·I·O·N," "Mother." "Nehorina Hahorina," "Ai no Shirushi," and "Kore ga Watashi no Ikirumichi (Mandarin version)."
  • Clips contains the music videos for "Talalan," "Puffy de Rumba," "Nichiyohbi no Musume," "Yume no Tameni," "Ai no Shirushi (Mandarin version)," and "Umi eto."
  • The musical backing of “Asia no Junshin” (the descending guitar line in particular) is similar to the old ELO hit “Don't Bring Me Down.”
  • "Umi eto" made its first apperance on an album here, three months before it was included on Spike.
  • “Stray Cats Fever” is edited to exclude the opening chatter originally present on the Fever*Fever version.
  • "Yume no Tameni" is slightly remixed (mostly noticable in the reverb present on the lead guitar lines, which weren't there originally).
  • The opening to "Jet Keisatsu" is similar to the opening of the Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again".
  • “Dare ga Sore wo” does not contain the nature sound effects originally present on the Fever*Fever version.
  • The fadeout chours of “Dare ga Sore Wo” contains lyrical references to many other Puffy songs, such as “Kore ga Watashi no Ikirumichi," “Toko Suru Karada,” “Ai no Shirushi,” “Asia no Junshin,” “Sakura Saku,” “Koi no Line Ai No Shape,” “Nehorina Hahorina,” and “Yume no Tameni.”
